"The Devil and Miss Prym" by Paul Coelho

"When we least expect it, life sets us a challenge to test our courage and willingness to change; at such a moment, there is no point in pretending that nothing has happened or in saying that we are not yet ready. The challenge will not wait. Life does not look back. A week is more than enough time for us to decide whether or not to accept our destiny."

The Alchemist is one of my favorite books by Paulo Coelho. Pick it up if you haven't...

I think that is the next book I am going to read. I've wanted to read it for awhile now, but hadn't gotten the chance. You'd really like this one. It's about good and evil and human free will and how fear affects everything we do. I had not read a great deal about human nature so I really enjoyed it. I think "The Devil..." is the third book in part of a trilogy. I didn't feel like I should have read the others first though. I can't wait to read "The Alchemist."
